Maritimo Beach Hotel

Tout personnel très sympathique hotel très propre

Das Hotel ist stilvoll gestaltet, ein älterer Bau, der modern saniert wurde. Die Zimmer sind groß und ansprechend, wir hatten einen riesigen Balkon. Die Poollandschaft ist sehr schön angelegt, es gibt eine Poolbar. Essen war insgesamt gut, Lage sehr schön in fußläufiger Nähe zu mehreren Stränden. Personal freundlich und mit guten Englischkenntnissen.

Zu den Essenszeiten herrschte extreme Enge, Buffet wirkte wie Massenabfertigung, Speisen wurden langsam nachgefüllt. Poolbereich zu klein für die Gästeanzahl, Liegen waren ständig mit Handtüchern reserviert. Klimaanlage blies direkt aufs Bett, Balkonmöblierung minimal. Kein hochwertiger Kaffee (nur Filterkaffee), viele Kinder, Atmosphäre daher weniger für Paare geeignet.

The staff are very nice and helpfull and caring and the resort is quite lovely with a nice view of the sea and close to everything one might need.

The food is edible at best. Dinner was not good at all. It is as tho they just stopped trying. Also allot of mosquitos in the room, and tiny ants everywhere.

The toilet seat was not fixed properly. The window in the bathroom could not be closed. There is a big construction site next to the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful with lots of flowers, with easy access to the harbor where you can swim. The food is delicious (although sometimes not very suitable for kids). The staff is wonderful, eager to assist with any request. The bar by the main pool is great with lots of food and drinks. The room was clean, the towels changed every day.

The beds are not very comfortable, the shower head was broken, no curtain in the shower (the bathroom floor was full of water).

We had a great stay at the Maritimo ! Despite there being construction across the street, it didn’t disturb us at all. There’s a lovely little cove right across the street as well that you can walk onto for your daily dose of sea water ! Shopping and restaurants close by! Staff was excellent !
