Please note that this property only provides extra mattresses in place of extra beds. Please note that the hotel will charge the credit card with a pre-authorization amount of INR 1. This amount will be adjusted against the final bill. Reservations with an invalid credit card or a credit card on which a pre-authorization charge fails shall be canceled within 24 hours of completing a booking. We are currently in the process of renovation some of our guest rooms and restaurant. During renovation, work will commence from 0900 hrs to 1900 hrs daily. As a result, there will be some construction noise and we ask for your kind cooperation. During this time the restaurant will be temporarily serviced at a new dining area. Alternatively, guests can enjoy in-room dining for added convenience. "Worst experience - will never come back"

Location

Not worth for the money, it was like lodge near railway station. Given room instead of 2 pm after 2 hours of arrival. Added to that no lift worked to go to 2nd floor with language, AC didn’t worked. Asked for two different beds but gave single bed for two adults it wasn’t comfortable at all - over all worst experience

"I will never book hotel through booking.com"

Only LOCATION IS GOOD OTHERWISE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH GINGER HOTEL AGARTALA. I WILL NEVER EVER USE BOOKING.COM & NEVER WILL BOOK ROOM AT GINGER HOTEL.

I booked the hotel for 22nd to 23rd and in booking site Check in time displayed 22nd 2 PM to 23rd 12 noon and accordingly booked at at price of Rs.2550.00 but when I reached hotel , Receptionist informed that booking was for 2 PM TO 5 PM on 22nd August only and I can't cancel and full money will be non refundable. The receptionist claimed another Rs 1120.00 for booking from 22nd to 23rd August. This is simply a scam and planned fraud by booking.com and hotel.and both are responsible for this fraud. No customer care response on phone call/SMS by booking.com Room was not ready upto 3 PM and after spending so much money in a hotel where rate was much higher than its condition. Total hotel under renovation work and lots of noise,dust, no proper reception area,no room service and no attempt for customer service and ideally hotel should not run in this situation until renovation work completed. Shocking that this property managed by TATA Group and TATA GROUP also involved with such type of fraud business. I WILL NEVER EVER USE BOOKING.COM & NEVER WILL BOOK ROOM AT GINGER HOTEL.
