Residence & Conference Centre - Kamloops

For the price paid the lack of amenities- bedside lamp, tea kettle, cups etc it was not a great deal coupled with how loud it was. Beautiful view of the valley from the room but my purpose to stay there was to be on campus to write final exams the next day and because its actually a dorm and not a hotel- but they want to charge hotel prices- its more like a hostel so one has to have the kind of amenties you need at a hostel as one stays at a hotel in order not to have to take that much from home. The common kitchen was filthy and although the room was alright for cleanliness the shower curtain had visible bidy fluids on it- truly disgusting. Its a good place to stay but not for $170/night.

For $140 we got a two bedroom suite with a small kitchen and table. Clean rooms good shower pressure and comfortable beds. AC worked perfectly. Pretty convenient as it’s right at the university close to downtown. At 140 a night for two separate bedrooms so it’s pretty great value for the summer in Kamloops

Kitchen facilities, BBQ, games room. Huge fridge. University campus and typical noise / late nights

Looking for low cost and clean , was less than expected

It was barren. There were no useful items in the room such as a lamp, extra pillow, kettle or coffee maker etc.

I like that it was a 2 room suite.
