I got stuck in Toronto Sunday ( last night) because of air Canada strike. Air Canada told me they couldn't get me a flight home within the next few days and then I never heard a word from them. I then proceeded to book this hotel for 2 nights. Today I messaged air Canada and got a ticket on the flight tonight. I called expedia if they could give me refund and they said no problem we will talk to the hotel for this rare circumstance. Then I asked the hotel first thing this am if I could get a refund for tonight and they wouldn't allow it. So I got no refund at all. So not only am I stuck with extra costs I'm also paying for services I'm not using. Not very accommodating. To top it off the hotel rooms were smelly and floors were disgusting. Stains everywhere. I mentioned that to them also but they just said we will have housekeeping look. Bed was all lumpy also.
