Elit Palas Hotel

The hotel is at a lovely location and has a nice old-timey charm to it. Some of the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Our room card broke down almost every time we left the room. We had to get it renewed after going down to breakfast or leaving the hotel, almost every single time. That was annoying. The room was cleen-ish but the sheets and covers were a bit old, some had holes in them.

The location was good. The room and the beds were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was also very helpful and friendly.

The sound isolation was not that good as we could even hear the people's talking from the next room. That was a bit annoying. As for the bathroom, it may be a good idea to renovate the bath tube and the protection glasses.....

It's a good-looking hotel with pretty rooms in a relatively central location. Some staff members are not great at speaking English but normally it's a question of waiting for the next shift manager who's was pretty good. Breakfasts had a decent variety and the hall was never busy.

Fridges in the rooms were not working and a bit smelly. We could use a shared fridge at the bar but it felt somewhat weird. Most of the days we had to return from the room entrance to the reception to reprogram the keys because they would stop working. Manager kept saying it's due to mobile phones but we've never had such experience with any other access cards over the years (at hotels and work). Showers could be improved. Although breakfasts were alright, their coffee was horrendous.

Room,which I got, was okay nice and clean however they don’t have some staff which must be every hotel. That’s disappointed me. Another thing is staff. They don’t know English absolutely moreover they have no idea about servicing and offering guests some kind of tours or attractions, city information and so on.

the room was hot and the fridge didn't work and what I don't understand is why they don't take the money out of the account straight away. Only when you get there do they tell you to give it in hand or pay in Turkish Lira, if you don't have euros on hand. they set an exchange rate that no one notices and you lose out
