Candlewood Suites Athens by IHG

There was no breakfast, there toilet tank lid was busted the stove top was busted the recliner was piss stained and look like it had never been cleaned up, The desk chairs were cracked and deteriorated, there was mold in the bathroom. there was not enough towels, the Ice maker flooded the freezer, the garbage disposal had some kind of metal down it and made a heck of a racket when you turned it on. It was a great room.

It should never have been rented

The rooms were so quite and comfortable. Was able to sleep with no disruptions or issues. Thank you for a good visit.

Staff at the front desk was super friendly from the time I walked in.

I don’t have much to complain about, I will just say…When checkin someone in, just tell them that their room is wrote down on the Key holder instead of saying it verbally to me. People are in the lobby listening, just for safety. Sad face was given because I kept missing the turn for the street the hotel sits on.

By far the worst hotel I have ever stay at, along with the most rude front desk staff. I am a totally disabled veteran with a service animal, front desk clerk demanded papers on my service animal. She demanded for her to be informed about my medical condition. Charged for a service animal. First time and last time staying at this or any other property with the same name!

This hotel was fine except for the musky/smoky smell in the entire place, heavy in the room.

Nice hotel overall. Enjoy the full sized fridge and kitchenette

We brought our Pug with us for the first time and everyone was very nice and helpful.
