Capovaticano Resort Thalasso Spa

I just returned from a relaxing, mostly peaceful stay at this lovely hotel. The location is absolutely gorgeous, with a kind and welcoming staff. A few issues on my last night, but overall I would definitely recommend. Here are the highlights I want to share: -A very big thank you to Catarina at the front desk. She wonderfully helped me navigate through a sudden health issue. I will always be grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and genuine goodness. I greatly appreciate it. She truly shines here at the hotel. -The food was fantastic. Loved it. Thanks to Mazia for being a brightness in the restaurant, and to Paolo and Antonino for being attentive to my dietary needs. All very kind people. -Thanks to Pina in housekeeping for helping me with my bags. I deal with health issues, and she was right there for me. Wonderful. -Eleonora! I loved talking with you. Thanks for always being welcoming to me and other guests. I could buy even more in the gift shop! Thanks for your time for sure. -The spa is so relaxing and peaceful. Alessandra is excellent in explaining the services provided. Again, as with so many of the team members, she was so welcoming. Definitely spend time in the spa area - either inside or outside. For my birthday, I received a complimentary hand massage from Catia. Amazing!! Felt great! I also want to thank team members Marco, Leonardo, Claudia and Ludovica at the hotel. A couple things to note: -A private car transfer to the Lamezia Terme train station is 130 euros. It takes about an hour and a half or so. -If you want a front row beach chair at the hotel's private beach it's 50 euros. Otherwise, it's free for guests. Note that there are some pebbles too, so you might want to bring water shoes. As mentioned, there were a few issues on my last night here, which I conveyed to the manager. Hopefully those issues get rectified in the future. I do appreciate the gentlemen who tried to assist with a few things my last night there as well. Overall, though, I had a relaxing, peaceful stay. The water is absolutely beautiful - the sunsets too! You can see Stromboli looking west and Sicily looking south. Incredible.

La prima fila in spiaggia è a pagamento ..se ne può fare a meno ,la seconda fila è uguale alla prima , ma concettualmente non mi piace L’ombrellone lo dovevo aprire io al mattino,aspettavo il bagnino per avere gli asciugamani da mare e più di una volta mi sono servita da sola..il bagnino introvabile

Could not use the pool on one of the days. The atmosphere of the restaurant is more geared towards a large crowd, such as a conference, than individual guests. And the menu is very limited.
