Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Rockford

The free breakfast was delicious. The egg frittata and mini waffles were especially good. The king bed was super cozy; I fell asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow. The hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown Rockford, but it’s a quick and easy drive. It’s also located near a lot of restaurants, which made grabbing food really convenient. I was there for the Rockford Ironman 70.3, and it worked out great. The hotel opened breakfast earlier for the athletes, which was really appreciated. It was also very quiet, making it easy to get a good night’s rest before race day. The route to the parking garage for the race was straightforward as well, which made race morning much less stressful.

I’m a bit of a clean freak, so I tend to notice things others might not. The carpet felt a little sticky in some areas, and I noticed a few stains on the carpet as well as some marks on the walls. Other than that, I had a very comfortable stay.

Reliable Fairfield Inn. Room is basic, but clean. Location is fine with many other hotels nearby. Staff is friendly. Standard complimentary breakfast.

We often stay at Fairfield Inns but this was the best Fairfield Inn that we have ever experienced. The facility was new or appeared to be new, very clean, wonderful staff, all at a great value. The lady servicing the breakfast area was exceptional. So pleasant and efficient.

Nada horrible y asqueroso

When it came time to find a place to stay for the night, I did the internet search while my husband drove. I called Fairfield in Rockford,IL to make a reservation - we were about 2 hrs away. Kasey was very personable, easy to understand, and patiently took care of arranging our reservation. He expressed wishes for safe travels and was welcoming. His excellence ontinued after we arrived. We felt like we'd arrived home for a loving family gathering. Kasey was professional while also friendly, helpful, and efficient. The room was spacious, very clean, and cozy. Great experience.

First off, LP and KC working the reception desk was a pleasure. Great attitudes and very helpful. The hot tub was actually hot as opposed to other lukewarm hot tubs at other hotels. And lastly, the breakfast was better than most other Fairfield’s, with a wonderful attendant who made it even better! We’ve been on a lot of road trips, so when a hotel is substantially better than their peers, I want to make it known! Great job on the local management of this location!

Nice hotel with friendly staff. I’ve stayed at the courtyard down the road a lot and while the staff is always great, it’s in desperate need of a renovation now a days so I figured I’d give this Fairfield a shot. This is my second time staying here and I’ll just say that it’ll be my go-to hotel in Rockford from now on. It’s not the most up to date hotel, but it’s clearly been renovated. While it’s nothing fancy, it’s clean and comfortable with makes it the perfect hotel for business trips. The staff is super friendly and helpful with anything you may need. LP & KC are friendly and fun and make you feel truly welcome.

The tvs didn't work well in the room. There were two, one of them worked pretty well the first day but the second day it did not work with netflix. The other tv showed the picture but there was no sound at all. the breakfast was not great. Also the shower/bathtub drain was very slow.
