The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very nice. However the cleanliness was awful in the rooms. I changed 2 rooms before I found 1 to sleep in.

The cleanliness of the rooms. And they need clean sheets and new mattresses. I will never stay at Fairfild Inn at Rockford IL location ever again.

"Great stay"

The hotel was great! Very clean and very convenient to the freeway. Lots of restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly, especially Mary in the breakfast area. Mary really made our mornings enjoyable and really stands out as an exceptional employee who clearly loves her job and cares about her customers. The breakfast area was always kept clean and the food available and hot. She would greet us each morning and she can always be heard humming. A very welcomed sight. My only complaint would be our exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. We were told some of them were in the process of being switched out and that ours must be one of them. You could also 'hear' noises in the walls ( sounded like pipes) but not so distracting that it kept us up at night. But I will say if you're a light sleeper, we definitely heard the noise from the freeway. I would definitely stay here again.
