Paperbark Camp

We had a wonderful 1 night stay at Paperbark Camp and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The highlight of our stay was dinner at The Gunyah Restaurant. The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, and easily one of the best meals we had during our South Coast road trip. The accommodation offered a true immersion in nature while still providing all the comforts of proper glamping. Although we didn’t spot any wildlife during our stay, we could certainly hear the sounds of nature in the early morning, which added to the unique experience and made us feel completely surrounded by the Australian bush. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The balance between being close to nature and having modern conveniences was just right. The tent has no fridge however, clean towels, soap, cups and teas were provided. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape that combines great food, comfort, and a genuine connection with nature, Paperbark Camp is highly recommended.

Excellent stay. The restaurant was brilliant for dinner and breakfast, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It was raining on our visit so we didn't to see as much of the camp as we would have liked. The tents are very comfortable.

Not a dislike, just an FYI that there are USB charging points for phones but no regular power points.

The location was great with wild kangaroo in the front and sits on a pretty river

I think it would be great to have had things like a sauna cause it was quite chilly or a hot tub or a pool or something for other activities but if you’re just sleeping there, there’s so much else within an hour to really explore. I guess it’s good enough as it is.

Beautiful bathroom open to the elements. Bedroom very attractively arranged. Super breakfasts and lovely, helpful staff.
