Casa Del Sol Motel

Definitely it was not what I expected , there was a big hole in the wall by the stove, letting a lot of flys to come inside of the room , when I asked the owner to fix it he said “is for ventilation “ When I told him that the fridge didn’t work he respond “ what are you talking about, it work “ “are you planning to move in “ I have a ice achine outside get some ice he said … The floor was wet and slippery, also had a lil smell that make you feel uncomfortable I rented the room for two nights and I couldn't even sleep one night in it, I had to sleep in my car to wait for the next day in the morning to leave that place….

Perfect location. The motel is very traditional as far as motel properties go in Wildwood. The rooms are not carpeted which helps eliminate the musty smell found in similar properties. Unfortunately the parking here was limited and in many spaces you will be blocked by another car (double AND triple! spaces) or another car will be parking YOU in. On the up side, they own an off property lot a few blocks away where you can park with no issues. This was really the most inconvenient and frustrating quality of this motel. Everything else was fine for our short stay!

Great place for a night away! Everyone in the area wanted you to book a 2 night stay but we were able to book just 1 night there. Pool was great!

This is so close to boardwalk. The owner Simon is so nice and assists you with everything. The reasons for this place are so wrong. I would recommend this to anyone. I will definitely come back here. Thank you for everything you did for us during our stay

You get what you pay for. Location was great - right off the boardwalk. But, very noisy at night and no place to sit outside because one table was taken by another family from the time we got there until the time we left like they owned the place. Pool closed at 7 so we didn’t even get a chance to use it but it looked decent.

Horrible! When we arrived no one was in the office to check us in. I called both numbers listed on the website and the office door. 30 minutes later the guy finally answered. He checked us in and gave us our room key. I said where is this? he said 3rd floor. My request was for 1st floor due the fact that we arent to do steps because of health issues we have. The guy said its 3rd floor. Steps arent bad you need exercise. Even after i spoke with staff before booking and they told me i was guaranteed 1st floor. We made it up the steps. The room was hot , there was only 1 bedroom not 2. 1 ac for the whole efficiency. The place was dirty all over. Mold on the bedroom ceiling. Floors not swept or moped. Bathroom was dirty with a dead roach behind the toilet on the floor. The bath tub had clogged water in it. No hot water in shower or kitchen. Tvs did not work. Outlets didnt work. Most of the lights didnt work. Stove didnt work. Microwave worked for 1 minute then blew. I went to talk to the guy he said i cant move you but you can use the microwave next door. He said hed give us clean towels and blankets. They dont do refunds. It was pouring down rain which was coming into the livingroom area. He gave us a broom to get the water away. The guy smelled like he was drinking alcohol and acted like he didnt understand our concerns. Horrible just Horrible! Worst experience ever! Never going back there ever again!

The motel was small, dingy, hot water not hot, beds are too hard, I hate motel blankets no cushion, tv channels were not clear and my kids and I were not used to motels like this. The staff was fine and waited for us since we checked in late around 1020pm but my family is used to a different kids of decor. The location is convenient to the boardwalk and convention center. Although it says there is parking, one would have to hope that there is a parking space on the property unless you have to park two blocks away. I was scared to go anywhere by car for fear that someone would take a parking space and we would have to walk two blocks to find another space.
