"Dark rooms and no in-room amenities"

The location is very convenient as it is right on a main road, and the golf course (although we didn't stay here for golf). The staff were great and the room was mostly clean, apart from some staining on the shower frame which we were able to scrub off.

I'm surprised this is considered a 4-star hotel; most likely because it's on a golf resort. The room had little-to-no amenities (no complimentary water, no sanitary kit in the bathroom, no face towels, tiny shampoo/conditioner bottles etc). The room also felt really dark, even with the lights on and the curtains open.
