Great instructions to get keys from the lockbox - easy access to the building and my apartment.

The apartment was well below the standard I'd expect for the price. The bed was very uncomfortable, way too firm, not a lot better than sleeping on the floor. I would also recommend some curtains in the bedroom, the light from outside permeates into the room all night, the blinds do little to help with this. The bathroom was awful, the floor looked like years of grime had built up and when I stepped into the shower I wanted to get straight back out, it looked dirty, again appearing to have years of grime build up. The vanity cupboard where the hairdryer is kept, was also stained and appeared unclean. One of the cupboard doors was very difficult to open. I didn't sit on the sofa, again it was very old, and well-worn and looked dirty. I spoke to reception about this the first morning I was there, they said there had been a number of complaints about this apartment. It should NOT be rented again until the owner has done a full renovation.

It was a great location, and the apartment was big enough for 2 people (albeit a bit of a pokey design)

The room was marketed as a "Superior Ocean View" room. The balcony faced north, and the only view of the ocean was out of the living room windows, or looking directly right from the balcony. This accounted for less than 1/3 of the view from the living. I would have expected this should be advertised as a 'partial ocean view room'
