Lovely hotel, owners couldn't do enough to make your stay a good one!

The room was beautiful. The family who run the hotel are friendly and helpful. Lots of nice touches like a bottle of water, real milk instead of UHT for your coffee or tea. If you want to bring food from a takeaway they provide cutlery etc in the dinning room. There are also two outside areas you can sit and relax in.

There isn't anything I didn't like.

I stayed here for my birthday staycation in Torquay, and I honestly could not be happier with my experience so far. From the moment I arrived, the hosts Sanjeev & Sabita were absolutely amazing. They were warm, friendly, polite, and incredibly helpful, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures, spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented. It’s always a relief when a place looks just as good in real life as it does online, and this exceeded my expectations. What truly made my stay special was the kindness shown to me on my birthday. After coming back from the beach in the morning, I walked into my room to find birthday balloons and a lovely birthday card waiting for me on the bed. It was such a thoughtful surprise and honestly made my day. Small gestures like that mean so much and show how much the hosts genuinely care about their guests. I enjoyed my stay and left with wonderful memories. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Torquay.

So very disappointed. My wife and I were so looking forward to our visit to Torquay, and it was spoilt by the behaviour of our host. It started with what must just have been and error with the description of our accommodation. We thought we had booked a "Standard Double Room", which was how it was written in the confirmation email. However when we arrived we were assigned a room which was called "Standard Double Room Compact". This room very small and cramped with little room for luggage. This is not what we were expecting and did not match what was on the confirmation email. We did try to get the room changed but there was nothing available for the length of our stay. We wanted to leave it there and just enjoy our stay as much as possible. Unfortunately, our host did not want to leave it there, he kept on at us, over and over again and again. He kept trying to get us to admit to being at fault. He was rude and aggressive. We even asked, many times, can we just leave it there, but he did not seem able to and just wanted to argue. If it was not for his behaviour, we would have given a better review. So many other things I could mention about what he said and did but I just want to forget about him and his aggressive behaviour.

Perfect location to reach harbour, city center and get buses to nearby towns. The rooms were clean and the owners were very helpful and friendly! They had thought of providing things like, bottled water, a fan, perfect in this hot weather and lovely hot breakfast in morning. Only stayed one night this time but will definitely return again for longer stay.
