Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Airport at Cascade Station

This experience was completely unacceptable. I stayed at this hotel with my infant baby and went home with multiple itchy bites, later confirmed by a doctor to be bed bug bites. I immediately informed Marriott, but the hotel showed no urgency. As a parent, it was horrifying that my baby was exposed to bed bugs. This is a serious health and cleanliness issue. It took 10 days after my stay before any follow up from the hotel management, which I had to ask for multiple times by contacting Marriott corporate directly. In the meantime, I had to throw out anything that couldn’t be washed in high heat – luggage, travel crib, car seat, stroller, etc…. When I finally talked to the hotel assistant manager, Keisha, she was shockingly rude and dismissive. She constantly interrupted me, cut me off mid-sentence, and showed zero empathy or professionalism. Instead of addressing a serious health concern, she acted as if I was inconveniencing her. There was no apology or concern, just defensiveness and attitude. As a Platinum Elite member with 600+ credited nights and lifetime status, I’ve stayed at many Marriott hotels across the world, and I’ve never been treated this poorly. Avoid this hotel at all costs! They will not give you any compassion or accountability if something goes wrong here. This was a deeply stressful and disappointing experience, and I sincerely hope Marriott corporate steps in to address both the bed bug bites and Keisha’s extremely unprofessional behavior.

Residence inn was in great part of town and very close to air port and rental car return. Staff very helpful and place was nice and clean.plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.

Our room was immaculate when we got there, and cleaned up when we left & came back. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and bed was comfy. Breajfast was delicious with lots of options. Next year when we have our conference in Portland we will stay here.

All good but refrigerator cycled on all night

The receptionist remembered me from a call and though I was unable to call him back he remembered we were arriving late and made up the spare bed so we didn't have to do it.

I enjoy staying here for work travel. The staff is always friendly, the hot tub is great, and it's close to so many shops and restaurants. Target is next door which is always a plus and I love that they have the airport shuttle!

Close to airport, able to hop on the MAX when we wanted to go to the terminal. Standard Residence Inn otherwise, but quiet so well sound proofed.

Breakfast is a joke at all US properties. Skippable at best. We walked to Starbucks instead. Also, the in-room coffee poor. Why not offer Nespresso like foreign properties do? Much better product and less waste.

The staff here is amazing. We have been treated with kindness and help during our stay. Lots of interaction with Keisha, “Debb” in food services, maintenance - everyone! Your fresh brew coffee is delicious (so many fine hotels have bad coffee!)

Staff went out of their way to be helpful. We needed a unit with a separate living room as my husband had a medical procedure that required us to be there several days. Unit had that, plus a well equipped kitchen with a full-sized fridge and dishwasher, breakfast buffet with lots of options, exercise room, pool, and laundry. The unit was clean (I'd rate it 8.5 - 9). Rooms could use a bit of updating. I would have preferred a Queen sized bed as the King bed took up too much space and was too close to the window and curtain. AC worked fine, but I would have liked windows that open in the bedroom. Location was great...Cascade Station has a lot of interesting shops and restaurants, and is close to freeway access.

The room I stayed in needed several repairs. It was not as clean as I would like to see for the price. I was amazed at how quiet the room was.
