Car parking charge

Rooms were clean and the staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Description of our room said it included a sofa bed and unfortunately it wasn't a sofa bed, it was just a chair. They couldn't accommodate a roll away bed because of the size of the room and potential fire hazard. Had to upgrade to get what we needed. You have to pay to park for your stay.

Great front desk staff, very comfortable bed, great AC, and a solid breakfast....BUT...

I would give TownPlace Suites an 8 or 9 if it wasn't for the ridiculous parking fees charged to park in their lot. This is a suburban business/extended stay hotel and the substantial overnight parking fee must be paid or else you will be towed. I would have cancelled my reservation on the spot if could have done so. Totally unexpected for this type of hotel in this location ... Very unappreciated and totally unnecessary. This is not the Las Vegas Strip by any means but parking fees were almost as high. So much so that I will never stay in a TownPlace Suites by Marriot again despite the property's positives. Fool me once...

The Mainplace Suites by Marriott in Henderson, Nevada, was very convenient, quiet, safe, and comfortable for our stay in the area. Our room was large and comfortable, the air conditioning was very cool and efficient, and the breakfast was delicious with several hot food items. The staff members were very friendly and helpful as well. Would highly recommend this hotel. So much better than staying on the Strip if you want quiet and ease of movement.

We had a glitch with the room key cards but not really a deal breaker. Would visit again

My kids and I traveled hours by car, for a memorable weekend in Las Vegas. This was something I wanted to do with my family, since being diagnosed with Cancer and in treatment. But this experience was a nightmare. I was not expecting to receive the most horrible, upsetting, discriminating experience in my life! Our room on the 4th floor smelled like vomit, which was coming from the restroom. I immediately contacted the front desk clerk on duty put us in a temporary room on the 2nd floor, until our room was disinfected and clean. He told me that he would have someone meet me at the 2nd floor room, but no one ever came so I had to physically go back down to the front desk. The room on the second floor was dirty too, the room had a foul odor, the couches had stains and the carpet was damp. I told the same front desk clerk this and his demeanor changed and when I asked him how much longer until our first room would be ready, he told me he gave that room to another customer already. I immediately asked for a refund and he told me he couldn’t give me a refund. Then I asked to speak to a manager and he told me “take a card and email them”. I again asked to speak to a manager now because I no longer wanted to stay at this resort and I wanted my full refund. When I asked for a pen, he tossed it to me. This all falls under inappropriate and unprofessional customer service. I was finally able to speak to the manager “Chris” who issued the full refund. This experience caused so much traumatic stress, I am sharing my experience because no one should be treated this way or have to experience anything like this. This experience has resulted in never giving my business to a Marriott Resort.
