"Lovely, friendly place - would stay again"

The room was lovely and perfect for an overnight stay. The restaurant served delicious food and fairly priced. Breakfast was amazing, with a mix of buffet and hot food. The staff were all lovely, welcoming and down to earth. The only downside was that visited in a heat wave so it was incredibly hot in the room, luckily a fan is provided and you can’t control the weather!

The staff were wonderful, great value for money, the breakfast included was excellent. Went during a heatwave so unfortunately a very warm night but the night porter gave us a jug of ice water to take up with us so between that, a cold shower and a fan I had a surprisingly good sleep. Would definitely stay again.

The cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Really well appointed with little details (like really well thought out ambient lighting, and generous mirrors) and super comfortable. And the staff were exceptional - everyone from the cleaning staff to reception, to the breakfast team, they really went out of their way to make us feel at home. It's also in a fab location, on a beautiful historic road, a stones throw from the lake, the main street with lots of food options, and the dunes/beach.

No complaints at all. We stayed during a red weather alert for heat so the room was very warm (along with every other building in Britain). But they've installed fly screens on the windows so you can have them open at night, and they provided a very decent fan which made a huge difference. When we were waiting for our cab in reception (which was very cool) the guy on the desk even brought us a jug of iced water and two glasses.
