lovely clean property, wonderful welcome with tea and biscuits, fantastic cooked breakfast plus a good choice of cereals, fruit and yogurts. really comfortable bed.
Hotel is a short walk from the town and the beach area of Torquay. A very good breakfast, clean, comfortable rooms, parking on site and owners very friendly.
I usually stay in a larger hotel in Torquay but wanted to have a change this time. I was not disappointed, as the owners of the Abbeyfield Guesthouse could not do more to make my stay wonderful. My room was great; I had internet access and a delicious breakfast. I will be coming back on my next stay in Torquay, where my company's main UK production plant is located.

Very attentive owners, excellent breakfasts. Decent location not too far from harbour/town centre (15-20 mins walk) and with tennis/pitch & putt just down the road.

What a lovely weekend we had in Devon staying at the Abbeyfield Hotel. Geoff and Sandra could not have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the room clean and very comfortable, all you could want or need in both respects. The location is pretty good and Torquay a great place to visit. Thanks for making our aniversary weekend special.
