Made to feel very welcome, staff polite and friendly. Room was spotless, bed was comfortable. Amazing breakfast, plenty of choice.

damp smell in room wasps in room so think possible nest outside toilet roll and facial tissues not restocked so only had small amount of toilet paper

A wonderfully friendly and accommodating team, in a delightful part of the country. Emmanuelle, Mark and their team were so friendly and helpful, we had a brilliant weekend celebrating a big family milestone.

Very friendly and polite staff, the food from breakfast to the evening was excellent and plentiful, the restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere, you are shown to a lounge area where you are shown the menu, when you are ready you place your order and then are shown to your table. Our bedroom was very comfy with a huge bed and a lounge for relaxing in. The bathroom had a shower and separate bath With plenty of shower gel etc. They also have a fridge just outside the rooms where you will find chilled water and fresh milk which is much nicer than the little pots of UHT that you normally get. We will definitely be coming back.

Just one small thing, and this goes to all the inns and hotels we have stayed in, just look at the stock of teas, there is always mint, camomile, blackberry tea etc left but quite often, as in the case here, we had to ask for standard tea, please note hardly anyone drink anything other than normal tea and coffee, so stock up on those and just have a few of the other beverages.

Lovely feel, beautiful location and amazing breakfast! Price was really great. The shower was the best shower I’d used away from home - so easy to use. Literally on and off!!!
