High standard of accommodation. Staff were most welcoming and helpful Food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Served piping hot and with generously sized portions. Dogs are made welcome, instead of being tolerated. Some nice touches, notably the individual miniature bottle of milk in the fridge. Elaine, Adrian and their staff have clearly given some thought to make for a truly enjoyable and memorable stay.

The only real downside is that the location is on an unlit country road, which I did expect given the hotel being situated outside the town of Amlwch. However, torches are available if one wishes to take the dog for his/her final walk before bedtime.

Very comfortable and homely with beautiful Christmas decorations Also lovely to have chocolate and Prosecco left in room for us

It’s a real shame there wasn’t a lounge to relax in , separate to the restaurant
