Very quirky property, full of history. Stunning gardens and views across valley. Room and en suite very clean and nice comfy bed. Definitely recommend reading the welcome file in the room, has to be the best I've seen. Charming host and the breakfast was delicious all locally sourced produce.
The hotel is in convenient location for access to main routes to the attractions nearby. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was most enjoyable. Parking is easy. There is a large garden the owners take great pride in.
I first stayed at Brownhill in 2006 while I was helping my daughter to settle in to her first job, at PGL, Boreatton Park. To give her space and time to settle in, I stayed at Brownhill House each time she had a day off, for her first few weeks, and travelled myself in between visits (to show her that if Mum can do it, then so can she!). This is probably my last trip to the UK, and I chose Brownhill again as it's close to the Ironwork Centre near Oswestry. The place is still as lovely and inviting as before, and Yolande is just as lovely as she was last time. Breakfast was perfect for me again, and I'm really glad I booked to stay there again.
Room was comfortable with a good breakfast. Amazing garden to walk around and with an EV charger.
We loved the owners. They are charming, fun, friendly and very interesting. I am sure we will return often over the next few years with our daughter in boarding school in Shresbury.
What a lovely quirky little B &B. Clean & comfortable. Could do with a bit of an update but it's lovely. The breakfast was very nice, plenty of choice. The garden is delightful, quite a way down (70 ft) but well worth it down to the River Perry. So much work has been put in. Yoland and Roger are a lovely couple, very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble.
