Broadway Country House

Gorgeous place, host was really lovely, couldn't do enough for us, and breakfast was delicious. Fantastic place for a base to go off and explore the area. We will definitely be back.

Couldn't fault anything. The only thing I didn't like was we had to go home.

Well established, easy to find, very quiet location. Owners very welcoming. Good breakfast. House is surrounded by woodland but close to the estuary and sea. Great for visiting surrounding areas Laugharne Castle, Pendine, Amroth.

Big bright room, clean, lovely bed, great shower, host offered fresh milk for coffee in the room, quiet.

We loved it. Continental breakfast was just fine for us.

Absolutely beautiful house. Rooms were excellent with space, size, decorations and facilities. Loved there was a TV in both the double and twin rooms. Breakfast was good, especially the twist on lava bread. The garden was lovely with places to sit and enjoy the scenery. The communal room was great, meaning we didn't have to sit in our rooms during the evening, having our meal (takeaway) and chatting together.

There were a lot of spiders in our room, cobwebs everywhere! Around the bed, the draw unit, in the corners of the wall bottom to top. The rooms were tidy, surfaces cleaned, but a thick layer of dust on the TV. The whole suite definitely hadn't been dusted for a very long time,

location.. was very nice, grounds are lovely, room was clean, clean bed ,linen and pillows ,towels supplied very nice quality and super white clean. bathroom spotless. nice rain shower , room itself was nice ,everything you want is there. I stayed in room 9 , bbc 1&2 do not work on the tv..lol (this is just me, I like watching the BBC tv programs) tea making station is a good touch, mini fridge,2 bottles free water , I would add more than 2 tea bags though, I can say what the staff were like, as I only saw a pleasant young lady for 10 mins, who showed me my room, and kindly showed me a large secure area for motocycles. pub (Carpenters Arms) 20 mins walk at my pace, food was good, helpful staff.added bonus for historians and poets,Dylan Thomas is buried here, and his writing house. in the town area, town isltself is a 30-minute walk at a guess.. I'd give 8/10 for this establishment.. Would visit again.

Could do with a face lift in some areas (just to bring it up to date), looks a bit dated and tired. would benefit from a bar and food on site. bedside rugs would be a bonus,

The food was fresh and local and cooked to order .

Would have liked a little back room music in the dinning room.
