The facts that the room are separated and it’s not two bed next together the other

There was hair in the bathtub, and no bag in the trash can

The hotel staff were excellent extremely helpful, the breakfast was perfect and the location was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would definitely stay here again. Loved the pool.

Balcony, not safe, need repairs

Four nights using here as a base to enjoy the tourist experience of Montreal. Our room was well sized for the price we paid, and had a balcony directly overlooking the main road. Air conditioning in the room meant we could keep the room to the temperature we chose, and the small kitchenette had an actual hob & oven, as well as a toaster & kettle and the expected fridge/microwave/coffeemaker. The bathroom was sufficient for what we wanted, with a wide but short bath & shower over - hot water available on demand at all times and in good pressure. The breakfast service is in a dedicated breakfast room on the ground floor with views of the street outside, and had a reasonable selection of cold buffet items with a long service window. We slept well here in a comfortable bed, and with sufficient drawers & cupboard space to unpack our luggage into. The room has air conditioning, but only awkwardly placed power outlets for the desk - so we had to choose between "laptop or aircon". The swimming pool is available to all guests & residents, is unattended, but supplied with fresh towels specifically for the pool & deck. The pool's only short, maybe 10m long but does have an actual deep end (3 ft at shallow, 6ft+ at deep). If you go expecting a competitive standard pool maintained by a dedicated fulltime team you'll obviously be disappointed, but the water could still stand to be cleaned a little more thoroughly - very cloudy when we swam. We found the hotel to be easy to find and reach from the city's public transport network - a major Metro station is close by, and it's only a short (uphill) walk from the Gare Centrale. Although the hotel was well occupied while we stayed, we weren't disturbed by any other guest or building noise (and the outdoor celebrations of a Habs home win were easily blocked by closing the balcony windows & door).
