The location is convenient to the bike ride we were doing. The rooms are large. I liked that there were hot items available for breakfast.

Would have liked a healthy cereal option. The bed mattress was lumpy and squeaky. The road to the hotel was very rough and odd.

"Adequate and way overpriced."

It was convenient to places to eat. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast options were okay.

The room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. There was no dresser for clothes. There was no comfortable chair to sit it. One chair was a desk chair and the other was like a dining room chair. The toilet was having flushing issues. Would not consistently flush completely. Staff did respond but it was not resolved. Since I have digestive issues, it was uncomfortable not relying on a working toilet.

We had just driven 282 miles from NJ with 2 dogs and a boat! Got to our motel in Cape Charles and they had canceled our reservation. 7 PM at night and now where do we go…so thankful for the Hampton Inn that was able to accommodate us at he last minute and so kind. I wish I would have written down the name of the person that helped us, she was truly an angel!

Our room was dirty, outdated, and in need of repairs, with water damage in the bathroom, dried vomit on one of the mattresses, exposed wires on the A/C unit, broken sink, and rusty water. When he advised the front desk of the issues, they told us our only recourse was to “take it up with Expedia”. We should be reimbursed for our stay. Atrocious.
