The Stockbridge Country Inn Closest B&B to Norman Rockwell Museum and Chesterwood

The inn was lovely and the hosts very attentive. We arrived at dusk, however, and had trouble finding the entrance. The sign was small with no light and the driveway was being repaired. I am an early riser and would have loved coffee or tea before the 8-10 breakfast time. Also, we hit a cold spell and I would have loved it if one of the fireplaces were on. We had a lovely breakfast and warm conversation. The nearby Norman Rockwell Museum was very enjoyable.

Innkeepers were very warm and friendly. The room was very tastefully appointed and charming. The full breakfast in the morning was delicious and we were given plenty of choices of food options.

Personal and warm welcome from our host. Comfortable and beautifully appointed room. Absolutely marvelous and sumptuous breakfast served on an elegantly set table. We will surely find an excuse to stay here again.

We are regulars in the Berkshires and enjoy exploring all it has to offer in terms of entertainment (which is abundant in the Summer months), and the opportunity to stay in historic and well-established B&Bs. This was our first stay at Stockbridge Country Inn and we enjoyed meeting the innkeeper and conversing with the other weekend guests, had great hot breakfasts and enjoyed the comfort of our room and its amenities. The bathroom was the most spotless we have experienced anywhere - kudos! Since we visit the Berkshires often, we will likely find an opportunity to return to this B&B.
