Qingdao Seaview Garden Hotel

The location is about 40 mins taxi from Airport. They can arrange driver at 200 RMB fee. Sea view room was lovely. Be sure to ask for non smoking as they do have them. Nice place.

The best thing about this hotel is each room has its own wifi router! I could actually communicate with (most of) the world! Also very attentive staff, good buffet, lovely spot by ocean, boardwalk, park. Had a weekend of downtime on biz trip in China and this was the perfect place to stay.

One of the best bargains in China. Spectacular location in a beautiful costal city. The amenities and the service are excellent. The hotel has excellent restaurants as well as recreational facilities. A big bonus is the nearby boardwalk which provides a scenic walk along the beaches. Definitely my hotel of choice in Qingdao.

I been to many 5star hotels but this one was a very good experience mainly because of the kind staff. The facilities are perhaps the same or less than intercontinental hotel or Hyatt in Qingdao but the location was a little better with more frequently running public buses. The room was not so big but enough space for one or two.The first 5 star hotel that didn't ask for a deposit and the 4 drinks in the fridge were free.The breakfast was some of the best. The cons were too many children and the English level which was not as good as other 5 star hotels but they tried hard to practice English. The staff training must be really good here.The Cantonese restaurant seemed to the best but pricey compared to the other 2 restaurants. Very few single travelers as most were families and couples.Even the massage girl was nice and gave a good legit service.Will be back.

We went to Qingdao Seaview Garden Hotel for a banquet with an entourage of around 20 people from Hong Kong and different parts of the world (10 rooms). We recommended this hotel to our friends stating that it was one of the best hotels in China. We have stayed there a few times and the experience had been magnificent. However, it has been one of the worst experiences we've even had (we have been to many hotels around the world) First of all, the safe was broken and the fridge wasn't working when we first arrived. It took more than an hour to fix it (to our horror, when one of the hotel staff found out that the safe wasn't working, she simply lifted the safe and went away. It made us think twice before leaving our valuable stuff in the safe as it's not save at enough. Some cleaners can easily lift the safe and walk away :( ) It took more than 10 minutes to reach the front desk when we called on the phone (the phone line was always engaged) and it took more than 30 mins for them to handle our requests. We had given up asking for anything at the end. The staff kept paying lip services to our request. We ordered some room service and when we left the room, we called up to ask them to clean up the room but leave the food in the room (we had a suite). When we went back to the room after dinner, the food was gone. The banquet hall was terribly hot. We told the staff to lower the temperature more than 5 times but it never happened. The guests were sweating like pigs. My mom even lost 50,000 HKD in her room It is so embarrassing that our guests had similar experiences as it was us who highly recommended the hotel to them. Will never go back to this hotel.

Great service! Beautiful hotell With nice, fresh and big rooms! The restaurant was very nice with Chinese gourmet food and good wines! Near to the water and beach walk! Very helpful personal at the front disk.

設備は新しくないですが、ホテル従業員の方の接客や態度はかなり満足のできるものでした。 が、英語を話せるスタッフが少なく、コミュニケーションが難しいと感じる部分もありました。

Visited this hotel off season which so the price was much lower than in regular high season times. The staff was always helping to find your way within this huge complex. Rooms are phenomenal. Minibar was included. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. Everything from chinese to indian and western style dishes were on the tables. Definitely a place to stay while being im Qingdao.

Let alone the cosy embience, almost all the service staffs are equipped (not just trained) with the highest standard of service etiquette you can expect, from the first minute you arrived till the last minute you depart.

this hotel is one of the best in Qingdao. It has all services you can expect in such a class. the place is great. on the coastline, ideal to take a hike on the coastal walk. Various restaurants, spa, pool ideal for holiday as wel as for a business trip
