Seagull Inn Bed & Breakfast

A very unique stay. Lovely staff!!!

Beautiful little rooms.Reminded me of farm houses when I was young.

We loved the four nights we stayed at the Seagull Inn Bed & Breakfast! The Inn has so much charm, from the beautiful garden to all the little details and art. The location was wonderful, right in the heart of Mendicino and within walking distance of restaurants, bakeries, cute shops, and beautiful coastal parks. The owners are a lovely couple who were so friendly, personable, helpful, and gave us great recommendations. My friend's birthday was on one of our days there, and her family had called the Inn to see if there was any way to send her a surprise treat. One of the owners herself offered to pick up something from the local market, and then delivered a beautiful tart to our room as a surprise from my friend's family. The included breakfasts (delivered to our room every day) were different all four mornings and were delicious! We loved our stay here and highly recommended it!

Staff, Ian and the ladies went over and beyond to accommodate any needs we had. One of us is vegan and we got one vegan and one non-vegan breakfast every day. We could pick from a small but good selection what we wanted for breakfast. Portions would be a little small for young and hungry people but we are neither ;) Location is outstanding everything in short walking distance.

This is a vintage B&B. Rooms are rather small and the bathroom has its challenges for anybody taller than 5'9. Just can't sit without hitting you knees on a space heater. While the room was very clean, there was some moldy smell in the air,

Excellent location in the village of Mendocino. Easy walking distance to the Headlands.

For the money, they really need to offer an ice maker on site, and mini fridges in room. Many travelers are road tripping along the coast. That means coolers with basic provisions Give your guests these amenities. A little ice, and a place to keep the bread and cheese cool isn’t too much an ask.

The breakfast was good and the hostess was gracious.

Upon arriving I was treated quite rudely, the property was in poor repair (mold, rotten flooring, very small shower, unsafe stairs, urine stains on bedding, and unsafe/broken window).

We were a bit disappointed in the breakfast. We had a Continental breakfast.
