Louis Paphos Breeze

We stayed for 10 nights in September 2025. We paid for a suite with a sea view. Suite - Block 2 - 1st floor - Room 28 Spacious for 2 people. Has air conditioning in both the lounge and bedroom. I felt the one in the lounge worked better than the bedroom if I’m honest but they both worked. Nice kitchen area with a microwave, fridge with freezer box, kettle, cutlery and crockery/glass ware. Bathroom was nice enough with toilet, WHB and walk in shower with screen. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. My only disappointment were the sofas in the lounge because they were actually 2 x single mattresses with some cushions against the wall so not that comfortable to sit on. We had a nice balcony with a table and 2 chairs. There is also a small airer attached to the wall. The apartment was cleaned every day. The cleaner also left bottled water, tea bags, coffee and milk cartons. Free safe in the room too is a plus. Pools/Sunbathing/Beach They have the main pool where the activities take place, the quiet pool and sunbeds on the grassed area just beyond the quiet pool overlooking the sea. Before I arrived I thought I wanted to sit by the quiet pool but actually ended up on the grassed area every day. The sunbeds round the quiet pool are very cramped whereas on the grassed area they were nicely spaced out. Every 2 sunbeds had a parasol which was great for us as my husband prefers the shade and there was also a welcomed sea breeze. The beach itself is very small with about 10 sunbeds in total (which don’t belong to the hotel). Didn’t think I’d like it but actually preferred it to the pool in the end. We had sunbeds on the grassed area and then just went down to the beach when we wanted a dip. I’d recommend beach shoes as it is a bit rocky getting in. Food and Drinks The food in the buffet restaurant was good. Not the biggest hotel buffet I have ever seen but all the food was cooked well with meat we could actually eat and enjoy! We booked the Meze restaurant one evening too. The AI drinks were good. Spirits were local although I think you could pay extra to have branded ones. The local ones were absolutely fine in our opinion. Plenty of cocktails on the menu too. Entertainment The entertainment isn’t really our thing. Unfortunately because our balcony was directly above the entertainment area we had no choice but to listen to it every evening and it sounded pretty poor. From what I can remember there was a magician that squeaked through his whole act, a karaoke night, games night, Amy Winehouse Tribute and some traditional Cypriot dancers. If we went to this hotel again I’d ask for a room in a quiet block. Staff From some of the reviews I read before visiting I was expecting all the staff to be super friendly. They all did their job well but I only found a few of them to be happy and friendly. Mahmoud was a great guy (waiter and life guard). Lorena and Bibo in the restaurant were also lovely. Don’t get me wrong I don’t particularly need to be friends with the staff but some never even cracked a smile! Area There is a path that runs by the sea and you can walk to the harbour although it would be quite a walk. There is a small kiosk about a 5 minute walk from the hotel on the main road if you need any bits (like a newsagents in the UK). Also a 5 minute walk to the main road gets you to the bus stop. Coral Bay in one direction and Paphos in the other. You can only pay cash on the buses but handy if you want to get out of the hotel for a bit. We visited the Old Town, the shopping mall and the harbour. The hotel does also have a free shuttle bus at certain times and days that takes guests to the Shopping Mall and Harbour but we never used it.

Breakfast was excellent with a lot to choose from.

AC wasn't working. Was told at one point nothing could be done. Luckily someone was sent and problem was fixed. Large pool was warm.

Went to paphas breeze on a tui package hotel in august with our two children. I was very disappointed in the hotel. The food was mediocre, the staff were not rude but neither were the particularly friendly. We found a cockroach in our bathroom and others in bathroom in the lobby, they reception staff were completely unapologetic and disinterested. The evening entertainment consisted of drunk brits singing bad karaoke in one night and another a ‘clown’ squeaking for hours. There is a guy going around daily trying to sell massages, felt a bit seedy. I booked a massage but I had always planned to without the hard sell. The massage was lovely and the spa was nice, but a bit disappointing to walk through a sad indoor pool to get there. The family room was spacious but lacked comfortable seating with the kids bed doubling as the sofa. The bathroom was a bit dim with towel rail hanging off the wall and mould in the sealant.. The best bit was the beach. It is tiny with o my a few sunbeds but it meant that you weren’t bothered by many people, the kids liked the rock pools, the rock barrier made the water ok for kids to in with an adult but large waves meant the needs a adult to hold them. There really is to do near the hotel, taxis are needed to go anywhere and it’s expensive but worth it to get out of the depressing hotel. Honestly, I would save your money for another year and go somewhere nicer the following summer!

It was a huge bonus to be at the Louis Breeze the week before it closed for winter... so few guests we felt like we received 'personal service'!! If you like a quiet, less hectic holiday, I'd highly recommend this period. All the staff were SO friendly and helpful and added a lot to our enjoyment of our stay, especially Bebo - sorry if the spelling is incorrect... our lovely waiter who went out of his way to make sure we ate and drank way more than we intended!! we loved every bite we ate!!!! we'd expected a reduced service due to upcoming closure but we got a full service - great credit to the hotel for that... excellent range of food for breakfast... we were never there for lunch, and evening meal selection was incredible. Loved all the themed buffets, Italian, 'round the world', Cypriot and Asian - the desserts were SO good!!! Nothing was every too much trouble and every query we had they found the answer for us - much appreciated Hotel shuttle bus to Paphos harbour was a bonus. Buses also very good service Hotel's location really good... wonderful to be able to walk to and from Pathos via the excellent path now built. Stunning sunsets each night too! To go to sleep/wake up with the sound of waves on the beach was a treat! We were in block 9 so very near the sea.... sitting on the balcony first thing with a cup of coffee was a treat for sure! We had a few minor issues during our stay but all were sorted out very quickly. Add in the bonus of Cyprus having above November temperatures for the week we were there and we couldn't have asked for more! We returned to dank, drizzly, cold UK with healthy tans feeling way better than when we left the UK!!!

We stayed very late in the season so the hotel wasn’t busy. We booked a double room but got upgraded to a 1 bed suite overlooking the pool with the sea behind it, checking in just before sunset so the view was spectacular. The hotel grounds lead out to the coastal path The room was very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping work hard and visit more than once a day. There’s a turn down service and treats were always left in the room, bottles of wine, sweets, fruit platter…a really nice surprise to come home to every evening Food was buffet style and varied enough to stop you getting bored. Each evening there’s a theme to the menu and there’s a welcome drink as you go into the dining room which is a nice touch The stand out feature of the hotel are the staff. Every last one of the people who work here and friendly and helpful. Service is excellent and really made our trip even more enjoyable. We stayed at the Savoy in the past and the service there is impressive. I’d say the service at Louis Paphos Breeze is on a par with that. We visit Cyprus on a regular basis to see family and we’ll definitely be back to this lovely hotel
