Hotel LP Santa Cruz Centro

LP hotel looks pretty, but is not the best place to stay. We had three different rooms, and none of the beds were comfortable. The rooms are clean, and the bathroom is good. Some of the personnel is not speaking English and very inefficiently. In the middle of the night @4:45 we had to wait endlessly to check out because of one other customer. The hotel deserves the third star because the breakfast is tasty.

Staff around around breakfast area was terrible, e.g., not replinishing food, glasses, etc., when she said she would and removing dishes before guest was through.

Televisión en la habitación parece monitor de computadora, mínimamente TV de 4a 42 pulgadas. De las 5 noches, recién en la última cambiaron la tele y colocaron de 30 pulgadas aprox. Desayunos muy básicos, variedad de masas y frutas poca. Ventana suelta, con el viento suena y golpea con la cortina, que el sistema está ya gastado. No hay donde acomodar ropa que no es para colgar, no se tiene cajonería, incomodo para manipular en la maleta.

This hotel looks like a business hotel, it is very simple and clean. Its motto is about attention to details but are exactly the details that show it is far away from european business hotels. For example there are sliding doors that look nice but since they are not automated it would be easier to have normal door. The room is very basic but ok. Same the toilet. Breakfast was good but I was sorry to see that there was for example not much local food, like the juices were apple and orange while during my whole trip in Bolivia in the smallest places I always get very good fresh juices made of local fruit. What surprised us very much is that on the last day we had a flight in the evening so we asked if we could leave our luggage in the storage after check-out. We could but we had to pay for that and this never happened to me in any other hotel in the world.

I stayed at the hotel twice in while for a meeting with partners from south America. It's a simple but nice hotel at the centre of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. it has good Bolivian food especially the pique macho and cheese on almost every meal, workers are so friendly. The hotel has a nice view of the national stadium and on a soccer day you will see the south American love for soccer by the number of good looking Bolivian soccer fans that flock the stadium. It's more enjoyable if you can speak Spanish
