Aegli Arachova

Comfortable room and nice location

This was a wonderful place to stay, high in the mountains with a great view. The staff were amazingly helpful and the rooms were very comfortable

The hotel is well situated on the slopes of Mountain Parnassus surrounded by beautiful scenery. Unfortunately, I stayed one night, but for someone who has more time, it would be a perfect location to explore Delphi, ski or enjoy beaches. It takes 15 driving to Delhi, 40 to the ski area and around an hour to the beach.

Luxury met an extremely welcoming and high services hotel. Perfect conbination of a luxurious and at the same time family, warm and 5 star hospitality. Definitely rocemmend it for families, couples and single travellers as well!

I always enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful; service is excellent and it is always improving every year. What I don't like is having a separate building for the family rooms, which means that you have to go out to go to the hotel main building where the breakfast area and swimming pool are located. Also the room is comfortable and well equipped except for a kettle and coffee maker.

Stayed for 3 nights - room was a split level with two beds in loft, double downstairs - one bathroom and fireplace, with balcony (great view). Staff were very friendly and helpful - Massage from Loukas was amazing for 1 hour. Pool and gym also very respectable. Breakfast was a highlight with a great assortment of hot and cold food - our son loved the pancakes with chocolate sauce - fresh juices as well. Parnassos skiing resort is 22kms away - about 25 mins without snow - so very handy. There is a bar with drinks - but food in the evening needs to be ordered from a Pizzeria in Arachova - the menu is Italian and ok - delivery takes 15-20 minutes (if not busy). There are plenty of good restaurants nearby in Arachova (a short drive or taxi - not easy to walk really), but the lack of something onsite is a pity. A suggestion - find other restaurants which could deliver alternative dishes?

Just returned back from Arachova and Aegli where we stayed for a long weekend (Thursday to Sunday). We’re a family of 4 (1, 5-year old boy and a baby boy of 8-months). Hospitality service GREAT. Arrived on Thursday late evening a had one of the fastest check-in process. Our room (101) located in the main building (extremely convenient since we had a stroller) was ready immediately, accessible and with superb temperature. Hotel staff (family managed) extremely helpful to help us carrying our luggage to the room and to accommodate all our needs during our stay. Since it was late we decided to order delivery from the hotel’s pizzeria. Really very nice margarita pizza delivered very quickly. We ate in the hotel’s cafe/bar -which we visited thereafter regularly- and were offered with all needed cutlery. Breakfast is exactly what one can expect from a 4-5* star hotel. A special credit and thanks for the house made freshly prepared juices. Reception also very helpful since we needed a ride to the skiing center (up in the mountain) and the reception desk organized it immediately with a local taxi and all process worked perfectly. A very welcome Hotel for families and very kind and attentive with small children. All-in-all we had a great stay in Aegli and we definitely can recommend the hotel for families. We’ll surely return back.

Although when we booked we where told there is wheelchair access the access ramp is only for skiers!!. We where sold access to swimming pool but again access was only through stairs. Arrived at 15:00 and the room was not ready, asked for lunch and they only do takeaway from a local Pizza place that was delivered in plastic containers!!. Nothing organized for Christmas Eve not even dinner. Forgot to make the room in the morning. This is not a 4 star hotel and certainly not worth paying €200 to stay there!!

We stayed in this hotel with my family the first weekend of December. We had stayed here before (6 years ago) and we had similar experience. The room was paid through the conference, so I cannot talk about the price. We stayed in a room with a loft 30 meters away from the main building. The room way very nice, clean, warm, spacious and cozy. My daughter loved the loft. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. We tried lot of things and everything was tasty. The waiters were very helpful offering things that were missing (we arrived late). Overall, we loved the fact that this is a five star hotel, and a family-run business at the same time. You don’t get that impersonal behavior you get at other hotels. The owners were very friendly. Best hotel in Arachova. We will be back. Have a massage with Loukas at the spa. Great person with good hands.

Our room was perfect! Upgrade to premium category, on free of charge! Warm people with a high sense of hospitality! Excellent drinks at the hotel bar, tasty breakfast, much more than enough.. Spectacular massage services with the Loukas!! You have to try!!
