Room had a musty smell, had to keep the air on to not smell the room

Location to our venue

I booked 2 rooms but they only had 1 reserved for me. I couldn’t get a receipt because printer was broke. I was told I would get one emailed to me but I never received it. They were storing stuff in our room so they had to clean everything out before we could get in at 10pm at night. Check in was a disaster and woman kept talking to someone on the phone in a different language while trying to find us a room. Entire place smells like grandma’s house.

No breakfast. Bed was clean and comfortable. Place was quiet. It is not fancy, but a good value.

The two young people checking people in were nice and helpful when I needed something, but didn't seem to have the skills of welcoming people. They just seemed unaware of customer service expectations such as greeting people and eye contact. No big deal, but since you asked.

The breakfast pizza and breakfast sandwich that I had was very good for convenience store food. The coffee was excellent!

The room lighting could have been better as there wasn’t any light by the bed.

They post they have a restaurant - they DO NOT. This is a low rated motel, miles from Redwood Falls, attached to a gas station and C-stor !

I liked that there was a gas station attached to the motel and there wasn't much traffic.
