Very little to be honest. The only positive was the location being in Malé city, which is convenient for transit stays. That’s about it.

My experience at JEN Maldives Malé by Shangri-La was extremely disappointing. Firstly, the hotel failed to arrange the airport pickup despite prior coordination. I landed around 10:00 PM and only reached the hotel at approximately 12:30 AM after unnecessary hassle. This is basic service, especially for a transit hotel, and completely unacceptable. They later apologized, but that does not make up for the inconvenience caused. Upon arrival, the situation worsened. The room was not properly clean, which was very unpleasant after a long journey. When I raised this concern, the on-duty manager, Heena, responded in a very rude and dismissive manner. Instead of resolving the issue, she said something along the lines of “this is how it is” and showed no willingness to help. Her attitude was extremely unprofessional, egoistic, and lacked basic hospitality standards. There was no sense of accountability or effort to improve the situation. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and management response were all far below expectations.

La struttura è molto bella, il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. La piscina all'ultimo piano è meravigliosa e lunga, si può nuotare. Il cibo è molto curato e gustoso. Se vogliamo essere proprio noiosi, le stanze sono un po' piccole, ma considerando le dimensioni della città non si può pretendere di più. In ogni caso ci siamo trovati benissimo
