Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in / making payment at the hotel. Please note that hotel may contact the cardholder for verification purposes. Please note that a 50% non-refundable deposit payment is required for group booking (of 10 or more rooms) upon booking confirmation to guarantee your reservation. Please contact the property directly for more information using details from the Booking Confirmation. Tourism Tax of RM10 per room per night, imposed by the Federal Government on non-Malaysian nationals or non-permanent residents holding a MyPR card, if applicable, should be settled directly upon check-out and is not included in the above rate. Peak period policy : A non-refundable deposit equivalent to the room rate for the first night will be charged on your credit card for every room booked within 5 days prior to arrival date. This including: weekends, Malaysian School Holidays, year-end Christmas/New Year season and other peak dates defined by the hotel such as Summer Holidays. Prevailing taxes may be subject to change by the local government. As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance our guest experience, Hard Rock Hotel Penang will be undertaking Phase 1 of our scheduled renovation works for selected rooms and the Rock Royalty Lounge from 30 March 2026 until November 2026. During this period, the hotel will continue to operate as usual with the remaining rooms available for booking. Alternative arrangements will be provided in lieu of the club lounge benefits. Hotel facilities including restaurants, swimming pool and gym will remain fully operational. Please note that noise disruption will be limited to 10am until 6pm daily.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
