Hotel Spenerhaus

Very happy with the hotel, great location with many restaurans and the main shopping street in 5min walking distance. The room was clean and large. The only minus would be that the double bed was actually two beds pushed together, so that was a bit uncomfortable.

Big room and big bathroom, but very bare. Dated building and hallways. The whole place had a hospital like feel.

Very helpful staff at reception, everyone spoke English

Price includes breakfast and parking and a very spacious room and bathroom. The hotel is close to downtown and walking distance to the main shopping streets.

Really good place to stay in a quiet area very close to central Frankfurt. Not luxurious, not flashy, but just simple, comfortable, relaxing base. Good breakfast too.

Needed to stay one night on a layover. The staff was incredible, it was close to interesting things to see and the local pubs are just across the river. The rooms are tiny but if your staying a night who cares. The room was clean and comfortable.

The first thing I would say is that I would stay in this hotel anytime I came to Frankfurt. The location is fabulous, the rooms are immaculate, the people at the front desk are super, the breakfasts are excellent. The hotel is not luxurious but the rooms are modern and comfortable. It is a 2 minute walk from the Dom U-bahn station and there are many restaurants in the area. Breakfasts at the hotel are buffets with everything fresh and tasty. As I wrote at the start, I would stay at this hotel anytime.

This is a nice, clean hotel located just a stone's throw away from the Museum or Modern art and Dom/Romer. It is well maintained, clean and quiet. The staff is polite and helpful. Fully matches its 3-star rating. Would definitely recommend it to somebody who values comfortable and quiet surrounding, but who does not want to overspend at the same time. Natalia, Russia

A very good, reasonable, comfortable and safe hotel to stay. Staff is friendly and ready to help. A five mins. walk to Romerburg, very convenient.

A small very friendly hotel in a perfect Franfurt location, serviced by two U bahn stations each only a stop or two from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. A comfortable room with internet access and a fridge (not something you see in all European hotels). The hotel is very close to the Dom and Rommer, the Main River and other points of interest, and to fantastic shopping (and a great market). I was able to get late check out and print my boarding pass all at no extra cost. Despite reading that the breakfast was meagre, I found it to be more than adequate (it wasn't your huge 5 star buffet but do we really need that?). A selection of cerials, breads, egg, meat - more than one should eat in one sitting. Don't expect a mega chain, there are no bells and whistles with this hotel but I couldn't fault it.
