Stratford Inn

We enjoyed our stay there because staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms and facilities, breakfast area were clean, and convenient to get to SOU.

Wish they had some meat for breakfast.

We've stayed here several times for many of the wonderful attributes , including the staff , the pleasant breakfast and walkability to the shops and shows in town.

Very clean room and friendly and accommodating staff. Very quaint setting. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the downtown restaurants. The staff were very welcoming and nice.

The HVAC system was extremely loud. Since we were on the first floor facing the main street we did not feel safe opening the windows all night but we could not use the HVAC. It was too loud even with earplugs. The room was also half underground with a dugout window facing a cement wall; no view, lighting was terrible. The pillows were so fat and hard we slept without pillows.

This Tudor-style motel is on the south end of Ashland's downtown and just a 10-15 minute easy walk to the OSF. There are lots of restaurants as you walk straight down Siskiyou Blvd. We like Martino's Upstairs which is literally in front of the OSF theaters but make a reservation .. it's popular. The desk personnel were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We were most impressed by the breakfast room/common area which was large and brightly lit with a nice selection of family-friendly games ... a great place to take your kids in the evening instead of crowding back into your room and keeping everyone occupied until bedtime. Breakfast was included and more than just "cereal and toast" with an attendant that kept everything filled and neat.

Perfectly located. Pool room and breakfast room were nice.

Our particular room was like a dungeon (125), really dark and down below with facilities and employee locker room. Would’ve like a choice of room.
