I didn’t like anything about the property.

The staff was very rude from the very beginning. They tried to charge my service dog to stay, and then the room was filthy. Bathtub disgusting and plunger dirty next to toilet. Food particles and sticky stuff on counter. But even worse was the roaches, and the bed bugs. So I did not stay, and I did not get a refund. In my opinion, it was not anyplace I could sleep comfortably

How close it was to everything and the room over looked the pond.

I will be staying at the AMAZING HOTEL in VA Beach from now own. loved Room 126- Loved the ducks at my patio door. Staff was so kind and nice. Loved watching the guest fish. Board Walk across the street from property. Carnival right there as well. Love this place!

Great location, nice host (if you read this, it meant a lot to see your shrine!)

Shower faucet was tricky, bedframes were crazy squeaky

The staff was EXCELLENT, very attentive. The room wasn’t the cleanest, bathroom could have used some TLC, and they could have use a good air freshener for the room as a whole. The view in back was great! Hubby said we would give them another chance. Did not used the pool, it seemed clean.

The photos are an absolute catfish. The rooms smell like someone smoked a whole cart of cigarettes before you walked in. The outside of the building looks like it should be condemned and the staff are extremely slow at handling anything

The stay was nice and the front desk was generous when I asked for extra toiletries. I really like the spot by the water but the room had not been swept (properly maybe) and the fridge could’ve used a wipe down. Good location though

Overpriced like everything else in VA Beach. Beautiful lake view from the rooms, a dock, and lots of ducks to watch! Parking was included and felt safe, though the parking lot is small and very cramped; when full, we often had to do a 10-point turn just to get out of some of the spots. The beach is a few walkable blocks away. Food and shops are fairly close also. One of our rooms had a strong musty smell (past hurricane flooding perhaps?), which somewhat improved by opening both doors and ultimately was not an issue for my asthma. The other room smelled normal thankfully. No bed bugs. VERY disappointed to have no towel rack in the bathrooms, and all towels provided were merely stacked on the back of the toilet; this felt unsanitary and covered the flush buttons. Neither room had toilet paper, so we had to ask for this. Staff were friendly. We booked through hotels.com ahead of time, but neglected to call until the day before to request ground level rooms for accessibility needs. They held a handicapped accessible room for us and the second room right next to it. They also let us leave our car in the lot for a few extra hours after checkout so we could go get lunch, which is much appreciated.
