Sheridan Guest House

Tom and Rowena are gorgeous hosts in this beautiful place in Leith. The breakfast options are aplenty, on top of a good small buffet of fruit, yoghurt and cold cuts. Our room was comfortable, clean and homely. The only downside was the bathroom and toilet were kinda tiny so just take it into account if you need more space. Would definitely stay again 10/10 recommend this to others - as it's within 3 minutes' walk of at least 3 different bus routes.

We had a wonderful warm welcome from the owners, they even took the time on the first day we arrived to walk us around and show us some of the best places to get dinner. They take great pride in cleanliness and it shows! The space is tastefully decorated and boasts beautiful plants all throughout the home. The breakfast bar and homemade food offerings were delightful and delicious! The neighborhood was quiet and close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Tom and Rowena were excellent hosts throughout the duration of a break. Tom was a wealth of knowledge, giving suggestions of places to visit and eat and the local bus routes. The breakfasts were delicious with a variety of choices 😋.. Thank you, Rowena.. nothing was too much trouble.

Amazing fresh breakfast. The owners were extremely helpful with transportation, site seeing, and restaurant advice. We liked the fact that the guest house was in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds, but we could walk to restaurants and pubs.

We had such a lovely stay at the Sheridan Guest House with Tom and Rowena. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Our room was not only clean and spacious but also beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. One of the highlights was being able to catch a glimpse of the old town from our loft room in the attic when the weather was clear—such a nice touch! And of course the conversations with Tom at breakfast. The location couldn’t be better, with a bus stop right outside and a walk along the Water of Leith leading to some great restaurants in Leith. We’d happily stay here again!

Tom and Rowena were the perfect hosts, they made us feel very welcome into their home. Our bedroom was exceptionally spacious, bed very comfy and spotless, quite a varied choice for breakfast too which we loved. Looking forward to booking again very soon.
