Lovely place

The room was 3847 degrees

Toilet flushed on its own constantly. Had to complain late at night and had to move to another room which was only available because someone had to cancel. The hotel advertised food but there wasnt a chef because they were working along wirh bar staff at the nearby festival., no regard to hotel guests. We paid far too much money for the poor facilities and obvious lack of staff . Also we parked in their customer car park, residents only. When we checked in we had to give registration details, when we told the staff member she said it was for staff only. The sign definitley said for residents so we left the car there.

It is a perfect location if you wish to explore the village and surrounding area, food is good and good value for money.

Central location suited our needs for grandson's engagement staff were hospitable and bed was comfy

Couldn't shut the window we were overlooking high street but everything was fine

Room was just right for our needs , friendly staff helped us with our cases We slept better than we had all week ( in Whitby ) .Lovely friendly people in Guisborough @ £77 a night , we had no complaints at all , quiet at night , bus back to Scarborough
