Fair condition hotel, good position, good food, excellent friendly staff. Thankyou Salutation.

Lovely and clean. Breakfast cooked fresh and good quality products. We couldnt get thr tv to work. Better shower fixing needed.shower came off holder with pressure of water and thrashed everywhere and also soaking the floor. Could do with new mattress or topper .

Arrived a young man urinating in the car park. Same young man then having an argument with his girlfriend who was working behind the bar. Room was okay but bathroom was dirty.

Very pleasing stay and convenient for an overnight stay for Fishguard ferry to Ireland

It was good value and well-organised. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast and other meals were good.

Good location. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Food was plentiful, well cooked & good value. Would recommend and stay again.

We stayed one night as we were catching the Fishguard Ferry to Ireland the next day. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and although we did not need to use the bus it would be ideal for someone staying longer who wanted to get around without using their car. We drove ten minutes up the road to Newport Beach and was able to park right on the sea front with no charge for parking. We then walked up into the village and enjoyed looking around the small village with its assortment of quaint shops. We ate our evening meal back at the Salutation and could not fault the food served to us. The next morning a fantastic breakfast was served setting us up for our onward journey to Ireland. The atmosphere at the Inn is warm and welcoming, it was not just the staff that were friendly but the other customers dining there also were welcoming. We could have happily stayed there for longer than one night and will consider doing that when we have some time. The bed that we had in our room was the best bed we have slept in at a hotel for a long time. Fabulous stay.

Was asked to move from our table which we were at all evening to make way for someone with preference treatment Was asked to move to bar where dogs were preference which I am allergic too Very rude and disrespectful

Our stay was great - very good service provided by Brenda and the staff.

Didn't like much. Hot water was not working properly, after one person bath, other one couldn't have it. Room was smelling bad. Beds were not comfortable.
