Unser Auto wurde n der Nacht ausgeräumt . Hotelpersonal meinte, das käme öfter vor, die Polizei würde aber nichts tun. Das Hotel selbst sollte dringend für mehr Sicherheit sorgen oder zumindest die Gäste explizit darauf hinweisen, wirklich alles mit aufs Zimmer zu nehmen und nicht einfach hinnehmen, dass dies immer wieder passiert.

Clean , comfy and welcoming . The staff were delightful, the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and very clean . Lovely breakfast.

To make it better a wardrobe, a room fridge and air conditioning would make it superb.

Made to feel very welcome I arrived too early but was able to book and park my vehicle in the car park. I was given help and directions so that I could then go off and explore Bournemouth. Breakfast was good and served by two delightful children who were learning the ropes.

Warm welcome and easy check in. Free and convenient parking was a real bonus. Clean and comfortable room - there was a heatwave during our stay, the addition of a fan was really appreciated, as were the blackout curtains. We enjoyed evening drinks in the lovely, child friendly garden. We are a family of 4 (two sons, both aged 6) Would re-visit and recommend Applewood. The closest beach wasn't for us but as previous noted, there was a heatwave and it was a bank holiday weekend, so VERY busy. We used Applewood as a base to explore Brownsea Island and Southmouth - would recommend both for a visit if travelling with young children.

No negatives from us but we thought a mini fridge would be a lovely addition to the room.
