The Grange at Oborne

The location was excellent, gorgeous village and very handy for Sherborne, which is also very pretty. There was plenty of parking.The hotel seemed well laid out and our bedroom and bathroom were clean, light and spacious. We stayed in three hotels on our trip and this was our favourite. Main drawback was the lumpy mattress. I didn’t sleep well because of the springs sticking into me. Hotel breakfast was OK.

This spotlessly clean hotel is located in a beautiful little hamlet just outside of Sherbourne and is the perfect base for an exploring Dorset holiday. The customer service we received was excellent. We felt completely Covid safe during our lovely 2 night stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - simply lovely!

Lovely hotel!

Lovely hotel ! The manager on duty the day we arrived was really friendly and explained their protocol on Covid very well but also very relaxed and reassuring. We only stayed one night and the room was superb.. so roomy.. The only small criticism was that the pillows were a little hard (my husband always takes his pillow with him !😂) .. whereas I always go with it and did have a bit of a stiff neck! Also the room was very hot and we could’ve done with a fan .. although I’m sure this would’ve been provided if I’d only asked ! The evening meal was delicious and the dining room really cosy and well set out. The garden is beautiful too x Breakfast was lovely with my boiled eggs cooked to perfection All the staff we saw were really friendly. We will definitely stay again and will recommend to anyone we know who is going to the area .

We had an amazing stay at the Grange, wish we'd stayed longer. Very clean, comfortable and extremely friendly staff, they made us feel very welcome from the minute we walked through the door. The food was exceptional too. The photos are an exact representation of what you can expect on arrival. Would definitely recommend, and already have done to family and friends. Looking forward to staying again.

If you happen to be in the Area, it’s a must visit boutique hotel. Impeccable service and great personnel working at the property. It topped our expectations. Well done!

Lovely property, clean and welcoming staff. Restaurant was lovely a delicious food.

Our stay are the hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and the whole experience was first class. We look forward to returning sometime in the future.

Nice homely feel, a lot of character, it was well maintained

Bed was so uncomfortable, vwry hard springy matress, it tookan hour for them to serve breakfast and then they tried to double charge me for the room and breakfast even though i had paid already.
