Aruntara Riverside Boutique Hotel

Great thai style hotel with lovely big rooms and a great riverside location. Feels like an oasis in a big city. Breakfast served by the river is very scenic. It's a tut tut to get to old town, so location could be a bit more central but it's a quick taxi.

This is a small boutique hotel with lots of good things, however, not for us. Breakfast was let down.

I stayed at this hotel years 6 ago and loved it! They have added a new dining room and tables right in front of the river. My only complaint was that we found a very large cockroach in our shower, but this was probably not due to a lack of cleanliness, but rather the tropical climate and it being the rainy season. Staff was great as usual! Excellent massages in the spa as well!

This hotel is nice but not worth the money they are charging in US dollar. The neighborhood is very poor and the Internet is very bad. Need to have better breakfast. Need more variety. There was hardly any thing available. I booked a delux room but when we saw the room we were very disappointed and had to upgrade with double the price.

Outstanding ambiance with a beautiful design. The staff were so helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and scenic as you sit by the river. You need to take a tuk tuk to the historical area as it is too far to walk which was not a problem at all.

Had a good three night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good neighbourhood, close to downtown.

We had 3 generations of our family enjoy a short stay in Chiangmail. This was a beautiful oasis. Serene, pretty, small and private. We will be back.

Elegant boutique hotel on the river side, with good service and friendly staff. Room where in general good condition, but the bed was very firm, and the room is very open when it comes to sound reflection as all doors are shutters.

Except for the wifi glitches, it's am absolutely charming hotel with incredibly helpful staff and a tuk tuk ride away from old Chiang Mai

A very nice boutique hotel. Love their room design and their backyard. You will be surprised by their backyard because you can sit beside the river, reading books or chating. Their pool are small but good for two people to swim, we like that too. Free bike but we didn't use it because might be dangerous if you cycle on the road. Fair breakfast, suggest they should add some hot dishes, such as soup or congee.
