"Great hotel at the best location"

8.0

The hotel staff were very helpful, the food (breakfast and dinner) was great, and the lobby was beautiful. The rooms are spacious but outdated and therefore seem not very clean. Guests receive free entry to Kiftzuba - a really nice amusement park geared towards children, especially younger children. We also received a voucher for Galita - a chocolate workshop which was a lot of fun for children of all ages (ours were between 2 and 16 years old).

"Good family fun, despite issues"

8.0

This was our fourth visit, this time with extended family. Kids 2-9. Breakfast has improved greatly since last visit, better food. Not wow by hotel standards but an improvement and objectively good, also breakfast no longer requires a hike. The main attraction was and still is the theme park Kiftzuba. It was overcrowded with unsupervised orthodox kids. Previously we came on weekends and park was much better on Saturday. On our last day we showed up early enough to beat the crowd. The hotel room is built well for families: bath and two separate rooms. However quality is low. Could be cleaner, had to ask to get a plug for the bathtub, and water from the bath faucet was filthy(also after running for a while), in the end we filled up the tub slowly using the shower head. Bed in the main bed room was twin beds put together, a common downside but I dislike it enough to mention.

"Good food"

6.0

The room is clean and huge with a mountain-view balcony, though the facilities are fairly basic. The food was quite good, in an Israeli standard. There was a variety of selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We had very good time. Hotel's staff are very welcome and have high service awareness. Our room was modest and large. Lunch time was the most tasty meal (wide food selection). Located near Kiftzuba & Galita chocolate activity, also very recommand to combined between these during the staying

"Fun Kibbutz! (this review not about accommodations)"

10.0

Delicious ice cream with lots of flavors. They even drizzle chocolate on the top for you! Most importantly, the chocolate making workshops are super fun! Make sure to leave time for the chocolate to harden. My boyfriend and I first did chocolate making, then wine tasting around the corner in the kibbutz, then went on a small hike around the beautiful area (a bit hard after all of the chocolate we ate while making our chocolates and the wine and cheese), and got ice cream when we picked up our chocolate about an hour and a half later. Really easy to get to on a bus from Jerusalem.

"it's getting worse"

4.0

it is the third time we spend a family vacation in Tzuba hotel. It seems that they are doing everything to convince us not to do it anymore. The rooms are not so clean, especially the bathroom. The children's bad seemed to collapse any minute, the food is quiet poor and the staff not inviting. I've never saw before supper without any food that children actually likes. to summarize, the only advantage of Tzube Hotel is the free entry to the Kibbutz amusement park. We can go there without the spending a night at the Hotel.

"Beautiful Setting, Not-Beautiful Quality"

6.0

Man, these guys simply do not care. I understand the Kibbutz ethos and all (not a service oriented mindset), but room quality is poor, prices are not too low, and the staff simply do not give a crud about your well being. I stayed here to visit a family member that was on a program housed on the Kibbutz, but other than that, no reason to ever stay here. Jerusalem isn't that far away. If they paid even the most modest attention to customer service, the place would improve. If they invested even a modest sum $ into the bedding, rooms, etc, the place would improve. They could also raise prices if they addressed this. Food on the kibbutz is mediocre at very best - no reason for that at all - no idea how the kibbutzniks put up w that unsavory chow they serve. Short drive into town gets you a bunch of good spots to eat and a fancy mall. About a 25 minute drive thru the stunning judean hills takes you into the heart of Jerusalem. what a bummer... T'Man '18

"Hotel Tzuba aka Belmont Hotel"

8.0

Friends stayed here while visiting Israel. Small hotel, 64 units. Plans to expand the facilities to over a 100 rooms. Each room is a suite with a bedroom and livingroom. Can accommodate a family with 2 children easily. More would be a squeeze. Went to have coffee with them in the hotel lobby. Nice enough seating and service. They were especially happy about the free access to the nearby amusement park called Kiftzuba. Good for kids up to middle school age.
