Alexandra Golden Boutique Hotel-Adults Only

Before arriving at this hotel, I read several reviews where guests mentioned their rooms had been upgraded. I assumed this was a tactic to earn good ratings. However, upon checking in, we were also informed that our room had been upgraded. We thanked them and accepted the change. But when we arrived at the 'upgraded' room, it was nothing like what we'd seen on the website—there was a musty smell, outdated decor, a toilet without a door, and a terrace door that was broken, which they advised us not to open. I immediately went to the reception, showed the photos of the room I had booked on the website, and requested that room instead. To my surprise, the hotel manager informed me that the hotel was fully booked. When I asked what would have happened if we hadn’t accepted the upgrade, I received no response. They offered a refund, but only if I insisted. After some back and forth, the manager finally provided one of the newer rooms in the hotel. Although we got the room, the experience had already soured our stay. To me, this felt like deception. We decided to check out early the next day but were told that a full refund wasn’t possible. After some intense negotiation, we were refunded only for the last night. We had to stay one more night and in the morning we left the hotel as quickly as possible. My advice: don't fall for the 'upgrade' story, especially if it mentions a private pool and check the both rooms. Additionally, the hotel seems to be struggling with its identity. There's much more I could say, but I believe this is sufficient.

So quiet and beautiful place!

We've stayed at Alexandra hotel for 4 nights during mid June 2024. There was slight issue with our accomodation at the beggining, and hotel staff organized immediatelly to fix the issue and make our stay great! Our apartment was great, clean, and very comfort. Private pool really creates the joy. Apartment was cleaned twice a day. Staff is extremely polite, always there if you need anything. Room service is fast. Location is perfect, at the middle of golden beach, with private sundbeds. Definatelly will go back to Alexandra hotel!
