Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. The tax is applied per room when the room is shared by a taxable and nontaxable guest. When the exoneration of the 18% IVA applies, is only valid for food, non-alcoholic drinks and accommodation charges, it doesn't apply for items from the mini-bar. Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation. When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. In accordance with the new provisions in force as of April 17, 2021 (DS No. 005-2021-MINCETUR)For the entry of minors accompanied by one or both parents, it is mandatory to carry the passport or identity card of the minor. It is also a requirement to present at the hotel, the birth certificate or birth certificate; as well as passport or identity card of the accompanying parent, as appropriate. According to Peruvian law (Law No. 28194), any payment from PEN 2,000.00 or USD 500.00 must not be settled in cash and cannot be divided into multiple payments less than the limited set. Guests can make these payments by credit card or other methods approved by the hotel and Peruvian law. Ongoing renovation works will take place from 17 April 2025 to 31 December 2026.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. "Superb Hotel, Excellent Location"

This is a truly top-notch hotel in one of Lima's most desirable neighborhoods. The staff were exceptionally courteous, the room was large, well designed and tasteful, with a wonderful view. The food service is exceptional, too.

"Fantastic hotel!"

A top notch hotel. It offers all the nice touches, like robe & slippers, adapter, hair towel, scale, and even a pillow menu! Their breakfast buffet is in my top 5 of all time, and you’ll want to eat at the restaurant on the first floor. The lobby is a visual delight. The staff make you feel like royalty. I had an amazing ocean view, and ocean views often come with dampness. Each room has a dehumidifier which helps! Definitely a 5 star experience.

"PERFECT high rise hotel!"

Room was on the 9th floor which afforded great views of Lima, the Pacific and a beautiful park. Beautiful and clean hotel, staff can't do enough for you, Be sure to stop by the Belo Bar and ask for Andres to make you a cocktail - he is a MASTER mixologist. Hotel is in a prime location to walk along the Pacific and Larco Mar. Roof top pool also provides great views.

What a wonderful experience! I would absolutely visit again, and we are already looking into staying at other Belmond properties. The hotel staff was superb, attending to our every need and making very helpful suggestions. The room was large, gracious and quiet. The breakfast was lovely, with many choices and, again, excellent staff. And the dinner was absolutely delicious—shout out to Christian, who made many terrific suggestions.

"Best hotel for food, service and views in Lima."

Top notch service. This was throughout my stay from arriving at the hotel to every interaction and special request. This hotel has great food and service at breakfast terrace and Tragaluz, which is my favourite restaurant in Lima.
