Motolodge

The rooms are large and fairly well appointed. Beds were comfy enough. They have a nice little pool, a cute, dorky little sauna (but it works) and a "hot tub"which is why we booked here, despite it being DOUBLE the price of the other place we were going to book.... only to arrive and be told the hot tub isn't up and running.

There was no indication that the hot tub was down, so we felt completely bait and switched after arriving. Also, they advertise as dog friendly but there's not a single piece of land on the property (grass or ever rocks) to take your dogs to go potty. I was told by the front desk to just take them to the strip of weeds at the back of the property, which would have been fine, had it not been COMPLETELY overgrown with goatheads. So i had to pick goatheads out of their feet and then they got blood all over in my car. It was awful..

Room was nicely updated. Friendly staff. If you want a microwave you can ask for one. No coffee maker in room but nice coffee available in the lobby. The room was not noise proof and the upstairs guests could easily be heard walking around due to squeaky floors.

Older property nicely redone a few years ago. For a budget, has all the nice finishes, linens and room of higher priced places in an older chassis - nicely redone. Walking distance from the center of downtown

No breakfast and the pool and sauna are seasonal, but decent accommodations in a remodeled motel at a good price. Walking distance to great restaurants.

Check in was fabulous. We were in town for a wedding and arrived well before check in. We stopped hoping for maybe just an hour early check in but they allowed us on our room when we checked. Super friendly staff, clean rooms, and a fun little pool/sauna area even tho we didn’t take advantage.
