Valentines Resort & Marina

The place is nice and the people is excellent, the food is good

room was nice but furniture (coach) had wear and tear in it. The a/c unit is set at 72F and you can not adjust even when the temperature outside is close 100 F. Shortage of beach towels. Also had rodents around the property.

Property and staff were great. Food was excellent.

Great resort

This is for the bar-restaurant only. And maybe it’s for foodies. We spent the day on Harbour Island. We first dined waterside where celebrities / wealthy arrive in yachts. We had followed a sign that said “Lobster Quesadillas” but security informed us that 1. it was not lobster season and 2. regular people could eat there. So we had amaaaaaaazing $30 snapper ceviche. Later on, we dined at the Valentines bar. The server was grouchy. The conch soup tasted like a can of tomato soup was poured with a can of vegetable soup and some wee-bits of conch were added. It was lukewarm. I was actually offended that someone would try to charge money for it. The bread pudding was a warm carrot-cake muffin with whipped cream around it. Why would anybody call that bread pudding?

Our room had a lot of flys. The staff when they came to clean left the flys on the floor

Great service !!

The rooms were unsatisfactory. Insects. Broken items. Poor lighting. Old towels. Not cool enough. Not what you would expect for the price.
