Hotel Del Mare

The property was clean, very close to the beach, and only a 15 minute walk to the center of town.

The location, staff, room and rooftop. Good breakfast too.

Nothing, no complaints.

The property is at a very good location, right next to beach and there are many restaurants nearby. The staff is polite and friendly too.

The room is too small, so small that it did not have enough space for a 25kg capacity trolley to open. It was very very suffocating.

What a wonderful hotel in lovely Sorrento, Italy. It's a very short walk around the corner to the beach and restaraunts. The staff were super helpful including these three ladies and the breakfast was the best we had during our 3 weeks across Italy. The rooms are Italian typical with very small showers and tile floors in the bedroom. We requested twin beds and they were also standard to the all the other twin beds we slept in. The rooftop solarium has a lovely view and the lobby is comfortable. The beach front was pretty to walk along and the main shopping area is a short walk away. We day tripped by ferry to Capri, Positano and Amalfi from Sorrento. From the hotel to get to the ferry you have to walk around the mountain and take an elevator down to the ferry dock. It's not a big deal but it costs 1 Euro each way. Also there's a bus stop near the hotel that you can take to catch the trains or for excursion meetups. I highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was fine. Very good Italian pastries and coffee was all we were looking for, so it was great.

Bathroom, especially the shower, like many other hotels in Italy, was very small.
