Bathroom needed updating and water pressure in shower was inadequate.

"Wonderfully located old hotel, near colorful plaza mayor and the beautiful cathedral."

Incredible, expansive view of the gorge, rock formations, other cliffside parts of town, and the parador bridge. The hotel is an old palace and retains original simple, quirky character and many antique furnishings. Breakfast is excellent and served in a sunny room overlooking the river valley. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

An extra luggage rack would be handy. Note, there are many stairs here and in Cuenca’s old area.
