Ordentliches modernes Hotel, einerseits optimal gelegen für Bahnreisende, andererseits durch die Lage des Bahnhofs von Modica weite Wege in die Stadt.

As other reviewers we could have missed this hotel as it really is tucked away and is a good 10 minute walk from the centre of this lovely town. Top marks to the friendly helpful staff at reception ( less so at breakfast but in fairness we didn’t need them ) Rooms large, clean and modern lay stylish. Lovely bathrooms. Only thing missing was an outdoor seating area unless we missed it as the bar doubled up as a breakfast room

Comfortable rooms, quality linens and a huge choice at breakfast. Not easy to find - more signs would be helpful as even local people don’t k ow where it is. Helpful staff when asked. Quiet and nice to see decommissioned buildings given a new lease of life.

Looked nothing like the picture. Could not find it then when we did no one was there to let us in.

The Ferro hotel is a hidden gem. You literally can’t see it from the roadway. It is obscured by a retaining wall and you think you are going up someone’s driveway to get there. Having said that, it is a recently renovated modern hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. Plenty of receptacles for charging devices. Breakfast is free and well endowed. The only negative is a lack of a restaurant and bar, however, it is only a five minute walk to the center of town where there are numerous choices of restaurants.
